Refund, Returns and Exchange Policy

At Centum Publication, we want you to be completely satisfied with your physical book purchases. We understand that sometimes, a return or exchange may be necessary. Please read our policy carefully to understand your options.


Eligibility Window: 5 Days from Delivery

You may request a return or exchange for a physical book within 5 days from the date of delivery.

Condition of the Book:

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the physical book must be:

  • In its original, unused, and resalable condition.
  • Free from any damage, marks, tears, bends, or other signs of wear and tear that were not present upon delivery.
  • With any original packaging, covers, or protective wrapping intact.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Books that show clear signs of use or damage not caused by shipping or a manufacturing defect.
  • Books with missing pages or content that were not initially reported.
  • Books that were part of a special, non-returnable promotion (this will be clearly stated at the time of purchase).
  • Gift cards.

Return & Exchange Process:

  1. Initiate a Request within 5 Days:
    • Contact our customer service team at [contact@centumpublication.com] or via our contact form on the Website within the 5-day eligibility window from the date of delivery.
    • Provide your order number, the title of the book(s) you wish to return/exchange, and a detailed reason for the return/exchange.
    • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please include clear photographs or a short video showing the issue with the book and its packaging. This is crucial for us to assess the claim efficiently.
  2. Await Approval & Instructions:
    • Our team will review your request. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (if applicable) and detailed shipping instructions, including the return address.
    • Please do not send items back without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be processed, and we will not be responsible for such shipments.
  3. Package and Ship the Book:
    • Securely package the book(s) to prevent any further damage during transit.
    • Include a copy of your original invoice or a note with your order number and RMA number (if provided) inside the package.
    • Ship the item(s) to the address provided in our return instructions.
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect item). We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds:

  • Once your returned book is received and inspected by us, we will send you an email notification confirming its receipt and whether your return has been approved or rejected based on its condition.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
  • Shipping charges from the original purchase are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error.

Exchanges:

  • If you wish to exchange a physical book (e.g., for a different edition, or if you received a damaged/defective item), please follow the return process above.
  • Once your return is approved and received, we will either:
    • Ship the replacement book to you (if it’s an even exchange due to our error).
    • Issue a refund and advise you to place a new order for the desired item (for general exchanges or if there’s a price difference).
  • For exchanges not due to our error, you may be responsible for the shipping cost of the new item.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items:

If you receive a physical book that is damaged during shipping, is defective (e.g., missing pages, printing errors), or is not the book you ordered:

  1. Please contact us immediately upon receipt, or within 1 days of delivery.
  2. Provide your order number and clear photographs or a short video of the damage, defect, or incorrect item.
  3. Upon verification, we will arrange for a return or exchange at no additional cost to you, including covering the return shipping cost. We may provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange for a reverse pickup, where feasible.

Cancellations:

  • You may request to cancel an order for a physical book if it has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible.
  • If the order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the standard return process within the 5-day eligibility window.
